Our BOAT, The oracle

Our boat is fully loaded: two private sleeping cabins, electricity, fridge, hot showers, private washroom, and heat for your comfort in all weather. Spectacular Barkley Sound unfolds before you with your host and skipper, Orest Iwaszko. Come experience natural coastal beauty, abundant wildlife, and magnificent west coast fishing onboard the Oracle.

Enjoy the halibut chair on the front deck, fish the back deck, go upstairs to the viewing area of the flybridge or relax inside on this roomy and comfortable vessel. The weight of our boat allows for precise speed control (a major factor in fishing) and makes us less susceptible to wind and waves.

cutting edge fishing technology

The Oracle trolls with a quiet Hybrid electric engine – sipping fuel and leaving a cleaner environment. We have incredible fishing speed automation with a custom-built interface and electric propulsion.

When the fish aren’t biting The Oracle goes the extra mile for success:

  • Hybrid Electric Power offers superb speed control for maintaining target fishing speed.
  • Speed Sensor (Fish Hawk) at the cannonball. There is no guessing at what the lure speed is at fish various depths. The right lure speed is key for strike presentation.
  • Temperature Sensor (Fish Hawk) at the cannonball temp. Every salmon species has a preferred temperature comfort zone. We don’t have to guess.
  • Simrad Auto Pilot to follow contours, repeats over productive areas and does a variety of fishing autonomously keeping patterns to keep on the fish . Even while landing a fish the Oracle keeps on fishing productively
  • Larger Vessel  maintains consistent speed for lure presentation in wind, waves and tides. Come and be amazed.
