Sockeye came early! Water temperatures indicated the sockeye would arrive when we took this trip and they were thick. Normally, we’d have to wait another week or two to have this kind of action. How did we know? We look at water temperature 40 feet down and when it approaches 52 degrees fahrenheit, we fish sockeye.
