One of the Greatest Sockeye Runs In BC
Every year, from Mid June through July, the Alberni Inlet sees one of the largest migrations of sockeye salmon in BC, making our Sockeye Fishing Charters an experience like no other. During this season, we head out to China Creek, the undisputed sockeye capital of West Vancouver Island. The gentle protected waters here make these trips calm and enjoyable whether you’re fishing for the tastiest of all the salmon species or just kicking back and enjoying your guided tour of the Alberni Inlet.
On our Sockeye Charters, all fishing gear and necessary equipment are provided and like all of our charters, you and your group benefit from cutting edge fishing technology on the Oracle including a quiet hybrid electric engine and fine speed control. Enjoy complete comfort onboard with galley, fridge, shower, washroom, and heat for cozy contentment in all weather. Guests can fish off the back deck, go upstairs to the viewing area or relax inside. The weight of our boat also makes us less susceptible to wind and waves.
