Local member of The West Coast Charter Association and life long fishing aficionado, Rick Crozier, used his physics and understanding of electricity to translate a theory into fishing science.
It has long been asserted that electrical fields can attract or repel fish. In fact, the black box modifies the electrical field around your boat and many commercial fishermen won’t leave the dock without them. Inspired by the black box theory, Rick asked: What about the lure itself?
As he began development of his idea, he was surprised at how well it worked and began to collect stories of people’s positive feedback. Currently, Rick is building another boat out of wood with no electrical effect on the water. Great for further testing.
I was leaving, having received my first package of the salt water fish attractor and was telling Rick why I like steel hooks. “Steel hooks will make your presentation hot he says. Sticking with stainless is the way to go, you don’t want to mix dissimilar metals in water.”
Sounds like an important detail.
