Creativity abounds here with native woodcarving and weaving. Music by the Sea will absolutely knock your socks off. There are a variety of art galleries and our Portal Players feature at the Capital Theater.
Our famous sockeye charter fishing is complemented by other water activities including: whale watching, kayaking, wind surfing, and scuba diving. Jacques Cousteau loved it here! Other outdoor activities to be enjoyed are ATV tours, the salmon festival, or old forest walking excursions.
It’s hard to leave Port Alberni, and like the salmon, most folks come back!
