Shelter from the storm is right here in the middle of the action. San Mateo Bay has as ultra protected bay with a 12x 60′ public floating dock. It’s a private place, great to stretch your legs, zodiac ashore or just go for a dip. San Mateo Bay is a very good prawning area and a good place to start off on another adventure. This bay is a protected salmon area but the excellent prawning and crabbing nearby makes it a target area to drop traps for the night.
